I was looking at some of the places I have been where I have checked in via a mobile application, uploaded photos or left tips on facebook and twitter. I had not written a review on this place. Seems a little off base as I have eaten here dozens of times. There have been some weeks where I have eaten here two times in a week. Short and simple: Great menu range that works well. Something for everybody. Lightning service. The more busy they are the faster they are. Lunch hour is always packed yet the service is faster than you could imagine. Very friendly staff. Great food and their hot and sour soup is the best I have had from any Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles. Moo Goo Gai Pan, Lemon Chicken, Basil Beef, Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken, Scallops... some of my personal favorites. One of my boys likes their noodle dishes and shrimp dishes. The other one of my boys goes for the steamed veggies with brown rice and either tofu or chicken with the Kung Pao sauce. Won Ton soup is filled with all sorts of nice things. They do a big take out business as well and they also deliver. Outstanding place that has become something of our neighborhood go to place on a regular basis.
Located right next to The Hollywood Way and across the street from one of the GREATEST pizza joints ever (Dinos) is Frontier Wok. Parking is plenty and easy to find located where the road "forks". Nice workers and the kitchen is exposed so you can see your food being prepared and served fresh and hot. Went there after a nice long run to have a good meal and first thing I Want to order and did was the hot and sour soup, which may have been one of the greatest I've ever had. It was thick and full of flavor with the right amount of kick as to not kill the full flavor of the soup. For the entree I ordered Mongolian beef which was good, All Entrees come with a side of soup =). It's usually my go to dish because I can compare it to others I've had in the past and it wasn't bad but not mind blowing either.
